How do I register and upload my final project in the UC student portal?

Submitting your final project

When you have submitted your final project, this page will be shown. Click "Register handin" to register your assignment in the UC Viden portal for student projects
This guide informs you on how to submit your bachelor project on IntraPol: How do I submit an assignment?

Project information

  1. Select language.
  2. Select type of project.
  3. Write the title of your final project
  4. If applicable, write the subtitle

Year of publication and external actor

  1. Select year
  2. Select month
  3. Amount of pages
  4. If external collaboration partners have taken part of the project, such as managers from companies or staff from universities, indicate it here. Select “ingen” if no collaboration partners have been attached to your project

  1. Select what kind of collaboration partners you have used in the project
  2. Select their role in relation to the project
  3. Select “Create”

Abstract and keywords

  1. Briefly present your project for readers to quickly get an idea of what it is about
  2. Select keywords for the project. These tags must be central keywords that make it easy for people to find your project when searching. Select various keywords to optimise search results

Authors and supervisors

  1. Add authors to the project. Remember to add everybody who have been part of writing the assignment
  2. Indicate your supervisor(s).

Place of study (Educational institution)

  1. Select your degree programme from the list. For bachelor projects, look under "Professionsbachelor"
  2. To find the right institution, you must search for the title of the progamme in which you have completed the project

As an example, if you have completed your final project on the teacher’s education, search for “teacher” and you will find "Professionshøjskolen Metropol, Institut for Skole og Læring" on the list (Metropolitan University College, Department of School and Learning).

If you wish to attach a document, you must:

  1. Click "vælg fil" to select your project. The assignment must be a PDF file. You can convert a Word document by opening it in Word and clicking “Save as”. Choose PDF as the file type and save it
  2. Write the final title of the project
  3. Select how accessible you want the assignment to be. See the difference between accessibility levels below
  4. Select what file format you are uploading
  5. Click “Create” to finish.

"Frit tilgængelig - Ingen begrænsning" (“Publicly accessible”) means that the assignment is visible for everybody, including people who are not attached to the university colleges. Your project can thereby be found by searches conducted on Google and other search engines.

"Internt tilgængeligt" (“Internal access” ) means that the assignment is accessible for students and staff at all the university colleges, as long as they have logged onto UC Viden.  

"Backend - Tilgængelig for Pure-brugere" ("Restricted to Pure users”) means that the assignment will not be accessible in the UC Viden student portal  it will only be visible for UC Viden editors.

If your assignment is associated with one of Metropolitan University College’s research or development projects, then specify it here.

  1. Search for project manager
  2. Enter the name of the project which your assignment is connected to

Confidentiality and save

  1. If you tick the box "fortroligt" (confidential), your registration and assignment will not be visible in the UC Viden student portal
  2. Here you will see what your submission looks like before uploading it
  3. Click “Save” to register and upload your final project.
